Annie Bonney joins the Documentary Film in the Public Interest Initiative to plan their first symposium and Henry Awards dinner. She comes to the Initiative with a wealth of experience in developing successful events, conferences, and travel programs. Starting her career in the Friends, Fellows and Special Programs office at the Harvard University Art Museums (HUAMs), she helped to plan and execute programs, events and travel for members of all levels. Taking the experiences and skills she developed at HUAMs, she pursued her love of food joining Oldways Preservation Trust, a non-profit promoting healthy and sustainable food choices through traditional diets, becoming the Director of Programs and Membership. She took a career hiatus while based overseas, rejoining Oldways on her return as Events Manager running their 25th Anniversary Mediterranean Diet Conference and annual Supermarket Dietitians Conferences. Annie lives in Cambridge with her husband and two sons.
